Meet The Team

The Team behind PET First Aid & Training:

Joanna Clough (Founder) is a qualified Pet First Aid instructor and Vet Nurse. She has trained extensively throughout Australia and New Zealand and also managed a successful dog daycare facility in Auckland

Laura Purkis (Founder) is qualified in Pet First Aid and Canine Care & Behaviour and is currently sitting her degree in Canine Behaviour & Psychology. She has extensive experience in assisting owners in the care and behaviour of their animals of all ages. She is currently a commitee member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers New Zealand (APDTNZ).

Michelle Irwin (Head Office) is a qualified Vet Nurse who has nearly 17 years experience in the animal health industry.

Linda Guirey (Auckland) is an experienced Veterinary Nurse, Award winning Speaker, Trainer, Facilitator & Award Winning Author. She currently runs all of our courses with the help of her little dog Cheech.

Nadine Steele (Bay of Plenty) Has qualifications in Animal Care Science and is qualified in Pet First Aid. Nadine is currently the Shelter Manager for the Waikato SPCA and instructs pet first aid and dog safety programs. In her spare time she competes in dog sports with her Border Terriers.

Samantha Spray (Auckland) is a qualified vet nurse from the UK who has worked in NZ, Australia and the UK. She currently instructs all of our courses helped out by her black Labrador Rodney.
